To remain competitive in label manufacturing printers need an edge. Eddie Gulmen, principal of Gulmen Engineering, believes this can be found in the new Polo 320 flexographic label printing press which he has been extensively testing with respected label printing associate Phillip Fogarty prior to its release in this region.
"Low capital purchase cost is an important factor allowing for a faster return on your investment," he notes. "With the endless range of options available with the Polo 320 you are now able to continue to develop your market knowing you can meet its needs cost effectively within a time frame to suit you. There is no need to

jump in too early with a huge capital outlay and purchase of ancillary equipment which you may not ever use."
Gulmen points out the attractive purchase price of the Polo 320, its many standard features and wide range of options mean that label printers no longer have to compromise by purchasing a second-hand version of the press of their dreams only to find that the previous owner's problems have turned this into a very expensive cost exercise in repairs and down time.
A basic press can consist of six to eight colours with combination UV and IR drying systems with constantly turning aniloxes. Cold foiling, UV laminating and self-adhesive laminating all come as standard. Automatic and manual web guiding are also standard as is taper tensioning for unwind and rewind capability allowing perfect register in tandem with a 360 degree circumferential registration and a generous lateral movement of 15 millemetres either way. For label and tag printing a back print web turner is also standard.
"Whether you are a large or small label printing company or even a food manufacturer using many labels inplant, the Polo 320 label press will meet your needs with the same outstanding quality as more recognised presses which are often out of the reach of many budgets," Gulmen adds. |
